New Ways to Connect with ECC

ECC is moving to a new relationship management system beginning July 19 & 20. Read below to find out more about this change.

1. Why did ECC decide to move to a new system?

Our mission is to Connect You with God and Others. As God continues to bless us with growth, new ministries, and new opportunities, we have reached the limits of our current system.

Our new relationship management system (RMS) focuses on the heart of ministry—people and their connections to and engagement with our church.

2. What does our new RMS offer the church family here at ECC?

Our new RMS offers the ECC church family greater capabilities and functionality in several areas, including a greater ability to self-manage your family and profile information, greater connection and relationship visibility, and a similar check-in process.

  • Greater Ability to Self-Manage Your Family and Profile Information

On your personal “My Account” page, you can self-manage your contact information, change your password, see the groups in which you are a member or a leader, see the teams on which you serve/lead, and manage all aspects of your giving. You will also be able to see and manage your family members and request additional changes from the ECC staff.

My Account

Need help accessing or using your My Account page? Stop by the Gathering Room after weekend services on July 19–20, July 26–27, August 2–3, or August 9–10. ECC staff will be on hand to answer your questions and help you.

  • Greater Connection and Relationship Visibility

Through a new feature called “Known Relationships,” you can define relationship connects with those who may not live in your household to better clarify familial relationships and enable activities like check-ins for your grandkids or the neighbor’s children (without adding those children to your household).

Need help adding Known Relationships? Stop by the Gathering Room after weekend services on July 19–20, July 26–27, August 2–3, or August 9–10. ECC staff will be on hand to answer your questions and help you.

  • Similar Check-in Process

While the check-in screen may look a bit different, the check-ins process is nearly identical. Whether checking in children to Kingdom Kids or FiveSix, or checking in as a member of a serve team, you’ll:

  • See a “Start” page on each check-in kiosk.
  • Tap the “Start” button.
  • Enter your phone number.
  • Tap the checkbox next to each child/person you want to check-in.
  • Tap the “Next” button.

The system will then display a page showing all the adults and/or children being checked in and to what area/room they are checking in. Click the “Done” button, and the appropriate name tags/labels will print.

Need help checking in yourself or others? Stop by our check-in locations prior to any weekend service.

3. What else will the new RMS change?

  • A new version of the ECC mobile app

On or after July 19, please update the ECC app on your phone. You will find many of the same features as before, including requesting prayer, watching our messages with online message notes, accessing our online connect card, viewing our podcasts, perusing upcoming events, and giving.

This updated app provides some new features, too, including:

- viewing your growth or connect groups and their members

- seeing the list of open groups and requesting to join

- accessing links to your serve team(s) and their members and viewing the team schedule to find a “switch”

- viewing your serve team schedule and any unfilled serving positions

  • Previous ECC-related apps you may have used

ChurchCenter, Registrations, and Groups were all part of our former system. These will all be replaced by the updated ECC app. These apps will no longer be accurate and need to be removed from your mobile device(s).

  • Any previous giving schedules, credit cards, or transactions set up or performed prior to July 19

We have transferred all financial data from our old system to the new RMS in a secure and encrypted process. You can access that information through your My Account page or the updated ECC app. Please access your giving information in our new RMS and verify that everything is exactly as you desire it to be.

You may also initiate new giving or update existing giving on your My Account page or the updated ECC app. For help with this, please reach out to our financial team by calling the church office or emailing accounting@ephratacommunity.church.

  • One email address per person

To prevent you from receiving multiples of the same email, our new system allows each person just one email address linked to the new RMS. You may still have multiple phone numbers (mobile, work, home).

What If I Have Other Questions?

Stop by the Gathering Room after our weekend services on any of these dates:
July 19–20, July 26–27, August 2–3, or August 9–10.

ECC staff will be on hand to answer questions about the new RMS!
